It was manufactured in Japan in 1984 and featured an optional FDD (Floppy Disk Drive), although it did not come with an HDD (Hard Disk Drive).

It was not compatible with IBM but was compatible with MS-DOS (version 2.11).

Very little specific software was developed for the 6000.

The CPU had three expansion slots. The monochrome monitor was anti-reflective and provided very good image quality.

The CPU came with a standard memory of 256 KB, which could be upgraded to 768 KB.

Users had the option to add 1 or 2 units of 5.25" floppy drives (320 KB or high-density 1.2 MB) or even 2x8" drives (1.2 MB).

This unit comes with an FDD.

The FDD unit connects through the interface board.
