Philips and Sony created a type of CD that could display images, sounds, and games.

The CDI220/60 is one of the first devices made by Philips in 1991.

The CDI220/60 model can use the following CD formats:

   CD-i: interactive CDs that contain images, sounds, and games.
   Photo CD: digital photos.
   Audio CD: music or sound.
   CD+G: music.
   Video CD: movies.
